What is Crisis Trends?

We're building an empathetic world where nobody feels alone. And, we can't do it alone. We launched Crisis Trends to share learnings from our data to arm the public with information they need to build a more empathetic world.

Why do we share this data?

By sharing de-identified, scrubbed, aggregate data, we hope to:

• increase public awareness about how crisis and help-seeking occurs in real-time,
• decrease stigma around help-seeking,
• and provide community members, policy makers, journalists, and organizations with insights to support their efforts to improve public mental health.

How is the data collected?

The visualizations you see are powered by data gathered in our conversations with texters. See our data philosophy for more information about how we collect, de-identify and share aggregate data.
